FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: 1. Who creates your products? Music
Educators’ Marketplace was organized in 1998 by six independent music teachers
who had created music education products and decided to work together to share
the costs and benefits of cooperation in order to market them.
Since then many other creative individuals have joined.
Most are active music teachers from the United States, and two
individuals are from Canada and Australia. 2. I placed an order and it came in three different shipments. Why? Although
our headquarters is located in Illinois, sometimes materials are shipped to the
customer direct from the creator. This
helps to keep overhead costs low. However
inquiries, order placement and payments all are handled by the Marketplace
Coordinator in Illinois. 3. Now that you have a shopping cart installed on the website, can I still telephone or mail an order? Of
course! Our toll-free number in the
US is 1-800-430-3840 and our regular phone is 618-224-7102.

The shopping cart is for the convenience of those who wish to use it. 4. Why don’t you sell method books or musical CD’s? There
are thousands of sources for method books, sheet music and CD’s.
Our products are unique and created to enhance basic music instruction
with creativity and alternative approaches.
5. Why do you offer the piano methods information chart if you are not selling the materials? We
do that as a service, knowing that our site visitors are likely to be interested
in such information. To our knowledge it is unavailable anywhere else.
Since we do not sell the items, we are able to present the information
impartially. Each company has reviewed and verified the information
concerning their method. Chart is

6. Do you offer a teacher discount? Occasionally we have special prices on specific items, but our prices are not set high enough to make standard discounts possible. Once a year we do offer some special prices in an email to customers on our list. (To add your name to our email customer list, send your email address to kk@musicedmarket.com. We do not share/sell/or otherwise abuse your address.) 7. What is your return policy? All items are returnable (in new condition) at customer expense if they do not meet your needs. The only exception is a few products which are printed to order. 8. How can we receive more information about a product? We are happy to consult with you via phone or email. We want our customers to be happy with purchases, and your questions often let us know what additional information could be added to clarity our product descriptions. Chances are that if you have a question about a product, others do too.
