The Deluxe Magnetic Board Kit is a convenient combination of Magnetic Board Kit #EZ002 (shown above in red frame) and Fit-a-Rhythm #EZLFT (shown above in green frame with a few magnetic tiles added). The keyboard and grand staff are for notation, and on the reverse side is the rhythm component with blank measures in several meters to create many rhythms. The widths of the rhythm tiles are in proportion to the rhythmic values of the notes so that note values in measures of created rhythms are self-correcting. Beginners can learn simple rhythmic patterns, and advanced students can explore more intricate patterns. This is a hands-on approach to help students visualize the abstract concept of rhythm while learning the math involved.
