BONNIE
SLAUGHTER

BONNIE SLAUGHTER
has been a piano teacher for over thirty years. She is active in the
Utah Music Teachers Association where she has served as President of
the Ogden Chapter, Community Outreach Chairman, state Composition
Competition Chair, Region FAIM (Future Artists in Music) Coordinator
and Bridgerland Chapter President. She was the Northern Utah
Coordinator for the renowned international pedagogue N. Jane Tan. She has over 70 piano students including "The Oakwood 88’s" Piano Ensemble Showteams. Members of the teams enjoy performing at area events, presenting assemblies in local elementary schools to promote playing the piano The teams also compete at state and international levels. Bonnie also teaches Kindermusik and has served on the state board of the Utah Kindermusik Teachers Association. She has presented workshops on organization and motivation throughout Utah and Colorado. She is the CEO of Bonnie’s Arpeggios Plus" and partner in "Progressive Music Masters". She has been a member of the Women’s Network for Entrepreneurial Training, which is a program of the U.S. Small Business Administration, and has served as a facilitator for that organization. She is a member of the Franklin County Theatre Arts Council. Bonnie is the founder and director of the Northern Cache Valley Performing Arts Festival. She is married and has five children and 7 grandchildren. |
