This student-tested software is filled with
colorful, exciting games that make theory fun! Each game covers one
topic, so teachers can target specific concepts for students, whether
using the software in combination with the print workbooks "Basics of
Keyboard Theory" or with any other theory curriculum.
Level Prep-II includes 30 games,
10 per level.
- Preparatory Level (elementary): note
names, half and whole steps, intervals to 5th by number, major and
minor five finger positions and chords, major scales, terms, rhythms
in 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. Keys of C, F, G, D.
- Level I (elementary): note names, half and
whole steps, major key signatures (C, G, D, F), intervals to 7th by
number, major and minor five finger positions and triads, major
scales, I, IV, and V chords, terms, rhythms including eighth notes.
- Level II (advanced elementary): key
signatures and scales in C, G, D, A, E, F, and Bb majors and a minor,
major and minor triads, primary triads, authentic, half and plagal
cadences, terms, rhythms including 6/8.
Level III-IV includes 20 games, 10 per
level.
- Level III (early intermediate): all major
key signatures, a, e, and d minors, major and minor scales, major and
perfect intervals, major and minor triads and inversions, authentic,
half, and plagal cadences, terms, rhythm including 3/8 and triplets.
- Level IV (intermediate): all major key
signatures, a,e,d,g,c,and b minors, major and minor scales, major,
perfect, and minor intervals, major and minor triads and inversions,
diminished triads, primary and secondary triads, dominant 7th chords,
cadences, terms.
Level V-VI includes 20 games, 10 per
level.
- Level V (intermediate): all major key
signatures, a,e,d,g,c,f, and b minors, major and minor scales,
major, perfect and minor intervals, major and minor triads and
inversions, diminished triads, primary and secondary triads, dominant
